HE Summary: A landscape park developed from the existing agricultural landscape from 1770 onwards by the Morant family. Brooklands
A small Georgian house built around 1800, possibly designed by John Nash, enlarged 1807 and 1858. The estate included a farm, walled garden, orchard and fishpond were added as well as extensive woodland and lawned terraces sweeping down to the River Hamble.
